About the Author

Laetitia Drexler Riglis

Laetitia grew up in Lorraine, France, in an area charged with History, where traditions were influenced by the proximity of Germany.

She has German, Polish and French origins and, anecdotally, her great grandfather knew Robert Schuman, one of the founders of the European Union.

She grew up in a big, tight-knit family with strong values.

Laetitia studied Literature and Philosophy in Nancy, before joining EM Strasbourg Business School.

She then moved to Scotland, where she finished her marketing studies, met her Greek husband and started working in Advertising.

She also spent two years in Athens, where she immersed herself in a more Mediterranean culture.

Laetitia now lives in Edinburgh with her husband and two daughters. After 15 years in advertising, she decided to ‘take a break’ to spend more time with her children.
